I grew up in a little village in the foothills of the Big Mountain. Life was harsh, and the community was very tightly knit, because all of us depended on everyone doing their share to ensure our survival. The children would shepherd the sheep and the goats, the adults would work the ground and the elders would mind the smallest children and cook the food.

You are no less important than anyone else. You are certainly no good to anyone burnt out! Sometimes the loving thing is to say no. You never know just what resources and creativity the other person can draw on to have their needs met, and they might never find out for themselves either if you continuously solve their problems for them.

In response to this, women have reclaimed their power and have paved the way for both women and men to embody the Divine Feminine.
Now it is time for us to take the next step, embodying the Divine Masculine, to restore balance within ourselves, in our communities and our human and natural world.

Whatever happened to Leisure?
Leisure is when you can choose to rest, to play, to walk in nature, to be creative, to have a bath, to read a book, to think about something in depth, to spend time with someone you love, in short, whatever nourishes and nurtures you, in body, soul, mind and/or spirit. The things you want to do because they give you pleasure, make you feel good. The things that make you feel fulfilled, the things that make you uniquely you, the gift you have to offer the world. The things that allow you to feel like a human being rather than a human doing.
